Card #21 is the Corpse Bride. When I first saw this, I don't recall being blown away. It was only after getting the soundtrack and seeing it a couple more times that I've really grown to love it. It's still no Nightmare Before Christmas, but it's pretty good.
On a side note, I'm really becoming more unhappy with the scans I'm getting of these cards. I'm using the scanner on this Brother all-in-one printer and this card just didn't scan right. Even after adjusting levels in Photoshop, it just doesn't look right. Think it's time to upgrade to a decent, dedicated scanner. Recommendations?
Very Nice Indeed, She shading on Emily is well done, & she still has her mysteriouse yet courious & fun look on her. I do wonder what she is looking at, Is it Victor probibly? You could have put in a little more of a background. I looks like the only big thing in this is Emily & not the place she is in. maybe by having a broader background color it would be more showy. But all in all, I believe you had made Emily in a perfect perspictive on what she looks like. Hoping to see more Corpse Bride Work soon.
I really like this card and I can actually only agree with the critique *MicahArt26 wrote for you. As for the background I would recommend to use a slightly darker colour next time as some kind of contrast. Maybe this is easier than adding tiny details on a Kakao Card (I guess it is one). I admire people in general who manage to draw such beautiful pictures as yours of Emily on those little card. So well you did a great job anyway!
